The Young Icefighter - Demo Version 0.1

A  little Demo of an 1 Player Amiga game for Children made withe Shoot- Em - Up Construction Kit.

My son (8 years old) created 90% of the game graphics. We designed the pictures together with iron-on beads and he painted them with the Shoot-Em-Up construction set. He also added 90% of the backgrounds and opponents himself. 

He plays ice hockey himself (https://salzgitter-young-icefighters.de) and wanted to combine his hobbies of computer games and ice hockey. 

So far, levels 1+2 plus a level with intermediate enemies are largely finished (the sound is still missing and the difficulty needs to be balanced a little)

The game was created under Winuae, because unfortunately my floppy disk drive in the Amiga often destroys the floppy disks when backing up :-( But the demo was successfully tested on the Amiga 500. 

You can put it on floppy disk with "adfblitzer" on the Amiga or play it with Winuae oder Fsuae on Mac or Windows.

You Play it with Joystick.

To Do list:

- Insert sound effects

- Insert 3 x intermediate enemies

- add 4 new levels (penguin level, bear level, ram level, chicken level)

- Create final boss

- Insert background story

- Edit title picture

- Fix bug

-Balance the game

- Insert 2 player mode (create character for player 2)
